Play Therapy Services
Our therapeutic approaches are tailored to meet the unique needs of each child and their family.
Learn to Play Therapy
The aim of the program is to build the spontaneous play ability of children.
The play skills targeted in Learn to Play Therapy include the ability to spontaneously initiate play, logically sequence play actions, use objects as symbols (such as object substitution), engage with a doll or teddy bear as a separate character, integrate play into a script, participate in role play, and interact socially through play. Humanistic Play Therapy
Humanistic Play Therapy is is a different experience than everyday play for the child, because the therapist integrates a well-defined set of skills in a consistent, predictable manner which creates the space for the child’s self-expression and self-direction. (5)
